This scenic and flat certified 10 km course starts at Granville Island and loops over Burrard Bridge to the north side Sea Wall before turning at Science World to head back along the south side Sea Wall to Performance Works on Granville Island.

Notes:

• The route follows the seawall bike/pedestrian path, except:

  - from the start on Johnston to Duranleau to Anderson and to the turn to the path;

  - from Creekside & 1st Avenue, just before 1km, to the foot of Hornby, just past 3km, where the route turns onto a lane for 2 blocks and then onto the path; and

  - near 8km along Spyglass Place which is under Cambie Bridge.
   

• Along 1st Avenue from Ontario to Cambie the path parallels the road
   

• The course is likely to change due to frequent construction activity so re-measurement may be needed well in advance of the expiration of the certificate.
