Event Details
Below is all the information you will need to participate in Vancouver’s favourite 10km run, walk and stroll around the False Creek Sea Wall.
Date and Time
Thanksgiving, Monday October 14, 2013 at 8:30am. The Trot Trot Stroller Run starts at 8:35am.
Bag Check
There will be a place to check (leave) your bag on Race Day.
Garment Options
Registration fee does not include a race garment. Instead, racers can purchase any number of the New Balance race garments available at discounted prices.
Timing Chip Pick-Up
Your timing chip is on your bib. Pick up it up during package pickup on Sunday, October 13th.
Race Parking
All parking on Granville Island is free on race day until 12:00pm. Please arrive early as congestion can cause long line-ups. Please carpool if possible, or if you are coming from downtown, please take advantage of the Aquabus (service to Granville Island starts at 6:30am). Please obey all volunteer flag people.
To encourage biking to the race, we are providing complimentary valet bike parking at the race.
Race Day Island Closure
Granville Island access will be closed to traffic at 8:15am till 8:45am to facilitate the race start.
Age Categories
- 14 and Under
- 15 - 19
- 20 - 29
- 30 - 39
- 40 - 49
- 50 - 59
- 60 - 69
- 70 plus
Age categories are by your age on race day.
Awards
Each age category's top 3 male and female finishing runners will be awarded with prizes. The top finishing team will also be awarded a prize. Those who make a cash or food donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank will have the chance to win 1 of 10 awesome prize packs courtesy of Granville Island!
Results
Race results will be posted online in the evening of the event.
